Jonathan Lakin - CEO of Intent HQ
Jonathan Lakin is the founder and CEO of Intent HQ, a well funded data and Customer AI business that provides technology and know-how to help large organisations like Telefonica O2 and Verizon Wireless use data and AI to transform their customer experience and operating model. Intent HQ starts by using data, statistics and cutting edge deep learning to create a human representation of each customer, building profiles that contain everything you can know, everything you can infer and everything you can predict about each customer. This new intelligence is then operationalised in a specialised customer data platform (or brain) and used at every customer touchpoint, increasing customer equity by providing the right intelligence at the right moment to power an adaptive customer experience driven by what the customer wants, rather than what the organisation wants the customer to want. Intent HQ has raised £27m from Pula Media and Technology Limited (the family office of Stephen Hargreaves), Edge Performance VCT and Oxford Capital Partners. After helping sell a German imaging business to Olympus, he co-founded a small investment fund which created Humotion - a company that measures the quality of human motion (at 3,000 measurement a second) for world class athletes and pioneering the use of data and analytics in medical rehabilitation.

Graham Phillips, LIDA NY, Partner, Chief Strategy Officer
While still earning his degree in psychology, Graham began his career in 1996 as an eager strategy intern at Mad Dogs & Englishmen, and never looked back. He has spent the past two decades honing every aspect of his chosen craft, in every corner of the marketing strategy world. Along the way he has had the honor of contributing to award winning (and more importantly, impactful) campaigns for a truly diverse set of brands including: SAP, Kraft, Ritz-Carlton, SAB Miller, DuPont, Kodak, Unilever, EDS, LG, Microsoft, Nestle, Kimberly Clark, ExxonMobil, CarMax, Volvo, Verizon, HP, Samsung, and more. He is driven by a belief that the obvious answers in life are boring. It is his opinion that our industry has, for too long, merely held up mirrors to our audiences and wrongly expected them to be excited by something they may find to be “universally true”. He prefers to design his work product and processes around more personally UNEXPECTED TRUTHS, having found them more effective insights as they, by definition, must be simultaneously surprising and familiar.
